It was the first Christmas that I had without my mum and spent it with my dad who lived with nan at that time. My memory is of waking up either Christmas day morning or Boxing day morning (I can't quite remember the facts), and finding a gift bag on the coffee table next to the sofa in the living room where I had slept, and in that bag was a bar of soap, a few of those free mini shampoo items that you find in hotel rooms and a sponge/shavvy? It turned out that nan decided to play santa that night and those were the only items she could find to hand to give me. I did laugh when I saw them. She was so sweet! xx
